World Health Day!

World Health Day

World Health Day (WHO) is an organization that draws worldwide attention to major global health concerns each year.  This year the main focus is Vector-borne diseases. (These include mosquitoes, flies, ticks and bugs, etc.)  Their slogan is, “Small bite, big threat.”  Kalomira and the Kalomira Team believe that the more you know and are aware of these issues, the better equipped you and your family will be to stay protected.

Here is a tip from the WHO organization on how to avoid getting infected:

“You can reduce your risk of being infected with WNV by using insect  repellent and wearing protective clothing, such as long sleeves and pants, to prevent mosquito bites.”
